FDNY Soccer Club hosts Liverpool Football Academy

On a sunny Tuesday morning, Football Liverpool Academy coaches instructed over 125 local youth soccer players at College Point Park in Queens.  For more than 2 hours these young men and women were run through a gamut of drills mimicking what LFC academy players run through on a daily basis.  These clinics are a large part of the mission of our foundation and we couldn’t be more pleased with the turnout and the overall event.   Photos of the day will be posted on our website shortly, but in the meantime, please visit www.chuntazuazo.com for a full array of pictures. (click on his facebook link).  Chunta was kind of enough to photograph the entire event and share his photos with us.

On Wednesday, the  FDNY Soccer team was fortunate to see the Liverpool vs Manchester City match up close at Yankee Stadium.  It was surreal to see football played at The House that Ruth Built, but we are looking forward to seeing NYCFC play at the Stadium next year.
